How do I make this dude play like the cb1 that everybody keeps claiming he is? He's made a few good plays for me, but is also consistntly getting mossed and dropping interceptions. I'm currently running him at cb1 with plat ball hawk, gold house call, and gold blanket coverage.
Could be luck? He's played well for me but I use him in the slot.

I might try puttin him in the slot to see if that helps, he's been ok for me so far and is usually in place to make a play on the ball if thrown his way but right now it seems bout 50/50 whether or not he's actually able to make the play. Might try to find the space to upgrade his house call to platinum tier, hopefully that'll help with some of the drop issues too.
It could, I mean I guess I really havent tried him anywhere else and all I have is gold ballhawk, and housecall.

i usually only run ball hawk and and house call on my corners but i added blanket coverage on him cuz its 1 ap gold, wonder if thats making him play different. im also used to running taller corners like dj pickett and mason curtis so im not used to seeing my cb get beat over the top.
That would make sense then, i see why you might think hes getting dogged on, I use short corners (bc im too poor to find better ones) but that might be why I think he plays well.

for sure, dj pickett has been my favorite corner to run all year from his 92 nightmare card to his spring break 97, i got rid of mason curtis for mansoor and im slightly regrettin it now. mansoor's 96 new year card was amazing for me tho and i do like the discounted abilities on his 98, just gotta figure out how to get him to play like the lock down corner i know he can be.

Mason Curtis picks EVERYTHING for me - if the ball goes up in the air near him he comes down with it. He’s still my #2 CB and is playing in front of 3 99 CBs. For me he was way better than Pickett who was great at swatting passes for me but would literally have 2 picks for every 25 Curtis would get.
I’m running Stukes at CB1 and he is very good but even he allows more than Curtis does. Delane’s coverage stats worry me a bit.

Yeah I'm thinking bout getting rid of Mansoor if he don't get his act together soon cuz he still going for a pretty penny. Could buy 3 or 4 cheaper corners for what he cost
