Ability questions

Now that pretty much everyone 99 in all the stats that matter the only thing to separate ppl is abilities and discounts.  I think everyone knows the main good ones like ballhawk and knockout blanket takeoff etc. 

I’m curious about the less used ones and ppl testing of them. Like robber, instinct, jammer, battering ram, quick drop, ground n pound etc

Robber is a very good ability for users, I use it and I am able to run all over the field. Also instinct isn’t bad I just havent used it enough

Legion is everything, I'm not even that great at INTs but it becomes infectious if you get one with a player who has Legion ability.

Legion is a must on your user.  I think that’s the worst kept secret lol.  I suppose to be more specific… the abilities ppl don’t use much and how the AI plays with them. Everyone knows the major ones but with the new discounts I’m curious what ppl have learned with the others.  Like for instance I use my ledge at DT and team player is awesome on him. Dominant inside with it.

Nice, what does team player do for your squad?  Never tried that. I didn't even know about or use abilities until mid- Season 3  LOL This is all a learning process for me  :)

Well the description is the player will play at a high level out of position.. what out of position means tho is yet to be determined. Like is that at slot meaning out of position for a safety or a safety at corner or do they consider safety at sub linebacker out of position? A lot of the abilities are very vague descriptions

With all of the 99ovr DBs who have discounted abilities,  there is no excuse to not have all your starters running Legion, Ballhawk and House Call.

Does legion really boost your Gold Ballhawk to PLAT? I have heard yes and no. I have also noticed against CPU abilities upgrade at least the color on the screen does when the player is hot. Does that happen in UT and h2h?

Yes thats what its supposed to do. Make an INT with a legion enabled player, and it should boost your gold abilities to Plat on the other players in your secondary

I've been using Team Player on a few players because I use Edge players at DT and Linebackers at Edge, and I cant tell if helps yet

So far my Ledg at dt makes lots of plays running team player quick jump and Grip breaker. Definitely have noticed a difference since adding team player. Also might be why Reese as great as he his doesn’t make plays I’d expect from him at edge

Agreed it helps. I can go on a streak of  4 or 5 ints a game. Its helpful when there’s objectives for ints😂

Are you guys putting Legion on multiple players, or just one? 

I've been hesitant to use it just because it is dependant on that player making the INT. 

I'm lucky to get 1 INT a game, so thought I'd have to put on my whole secondary to truly benefit from this ability

With most new champs getting the gold version for 1 AP, it's not too bad to throw onto most dbs. I might be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure you get a smaller composure boost for deflected passes as well.

You only need one legion on one player to boost all of your players off of one pick. Please keep wasting AP on multiple legions though, it makes the game easier.
