Blue Chip LTD bonuses as specialists??

EDIT: I just found a LE I was looking for and tested this. Unsurprisingly the player must be part of the lineup to apply the boosts. ☹️

Does anyone here know if you can still get the LTD attribute boosts from Blue Chip players if they are on your roster only as a specialist? I only have Mendoza so I can't test this. I JUST learned that the limiteds have a couple them team options to pick from but I run an Option 4-3 team and don't want to give up a slot BUT if I could sub someone in as a linebacker, rusher, or power back, I'll hunt for some of these players. I hope people haven't QS them all. 😭

Yeah. The boosts only work in the basic lineup
