YouTubers like Civil and Zan say no. And my experience as a CPU player says no as well. If you like the OVR numbers, just make a second lineup. That's what I do. The interesting thing is I'll do the "recommended" lineup and the game will put players out of position and boost their OVR. For example, I have the spring break te Villari and the computer puts him over Keyshawn Johnson as WR1 and says he's a gold 99! What? Lol. I tried it one game and he did ok. Lol. So yeah, I think it's just an aesthetic thing, which we all like. So yeah just make a second lineup or even a 3rd to experiment with. ✌️
