Why is defense so bad, Esp my defense?

I got a 87 over team... 87+ at corners and safetys.... they cant defend a god damn thing. But then you got guys out there with mid fucking teams at best and  there players react like  GODS?! HOW? what am i missing. please.

Bro......they stand their while the ball is in the air like idiots.....all while the game like delays you switching to them and making a play.........defense is so tough versus good players.....
