There are times when you run play of of this formation in which there are five defenders in front of my five o-linemen. For the life of me, I cannot get those five lineman assigned to block the five players right in front of them. It insists on letting one of them get a free run at the RB. It will instead assign one of them to block a safety or CB. I've tried untargeting, shifting the line, double-teaming, etc...nothing works. What gives?
If I'm not mistaken, setting the blocking to "empty" puts each blocker on the first man they encounter. Well, in theory anyway. We all know how this game works. Both Civil and Zan have a bunch of videos on YouTube that help with different blocking strategies. ✌️
