Do traits really matter on the d line

My experience is that certain players will animate differently because of traits when controlled by the CPU.

So what if they dont have traits? Do they not move quickly?

I feel like you can tell a difference last year for sure with traits and I always go for players with traits over no traits.

I think traits are similiar to badges in 2k where those players get a boost in attributes but there isn’t a way to prove it lol so idk why traits would be there if they wouldn’t do anything.

I think they go after balls more when they have traits. Swats, bats, etc. We've all had a ball go right by a CPU controlled player only to have him just stand there and do nothing. I feel like those are the no trait cards . Could just be my imagination too. Lol
