Can someone PLEASE tell me how to stop the shotgun offset bunch formation? It is infuriating….

Man and guess inside or outside correctly.
There is no single coverage that will stop all the plays...just as it should be. Different route combos require different coverages or adjustments. That is all a part of the chess match.

It’s not a chess match if only the defensive player is having to make adjustments. I’m guessing you use bunch a lot.

This would get burned terribly.
What makes it viable is the stemmed down corner or the natural zip out, which is really tough to guard. OP can find out what works for them
But this youtube offense is run so many different ways. Most collapse when their first read is gone. But others can build off of it and add wrinkles. A lot of it is a guessing game and you can pick up tendencies, especially what they like to do when on the short/far side etc.
But soft squats do great work in shutting down that stemmed corner and natural zip out. But then that opens a lot up.
Once you take away the corner/out they'll start getting their RB involved in a streak and then running deep overs/level concept. Most dont utilize the far side WR except for a quick out and they typically only run that on a 3rd and short to catch you offguard. So I put that deep zone some other type of coverage based upon what they're doin.
Switch stick is key here.
I just ran into someone who executed it really well. But more often than that, they're just bots who watch youtube can't make anu adjustments at all, freezing the moment you take away their first read, unable to adapt.
I like to man up a WR i know is running an over or drag or the rb with my user, so the defense doesn't react to them and plays their zones more properly

You make yourself sound simple. If you aren't stopping them and fail to adjust, the offense should not make a change. When players are smart enough to make good adjustments, then the offense is forced to adjust or they lose, thus the chess match. The post ahead of this one did an excellent job of providing some details to that effect.
Your guess is incorrect. I rarely use bunch. I do still get cursed, often times for using I form, empty, etc. Many people are just salty when they suck.

Either the point he is trying to make is going clear over your head, or your just ignoring it on purpose, since you say you run iform and empty I’m going to go with the second option.
Let me try to make it clear for you: The offset bunch, bunch nasty, bunch x nasty etc. are all meta formations in this game. The reason they are meta is because the alignment for some reason messes up every defense you throw against it accept for symmetrical defenses like dime, double mug or 6-1, or if come out in man (which has its own issues). The only defense that can stop those formations easily or is supposed to are match coverages, specifically cover 6 and cover 9, but there is a glitch that doesn’t allow the formation to align properly. What my guy is asking is if there is a legit defense, or adjustments you can make to slow down the offense, because we all know you can’t 100% stop it, that’s why it meta smart guy. And by legit defense, i mean anything but brain dead “duoble mug and pray”.

Match Coverage:
Learn how to run match coverage. Learn the rules of match coverage. Learn what the hook zones, and 3 Rec zone matching rule are and what every other zones job is as a response to what those 2 zones do.
Then start labing cover 6, cover 9, cover 4, and cover 3 and 2 matching plays. With a little bit of man mixed in you can slow down any of those bunch offsets/ bunch x nasty formations. I can guarantee you a stop, but I believe in a bend but don’t break defense. If your in the right coverage, and you show your opponent you can gap shoot to stop the run, and your making the right adjustments, taking away the quick reads and running the right stunts to get pressure, eventually they will make the mistake you need to stop them.
I would recommend a few things:
1: learn how to gap shoot runs if you haven’t already
2: get you some tall but fast outside cbs, tall users in the middle, and fast Sam/mike/ will line backers that can cover and pass rush and put 1 or 2 of them as defensive ends. (Height on defense is a bail out, versatility on your edge rushers allows you to make adjustments underneath that won’t mess up your over all coverage, which is important with formations that mess up your base alignment )
3: Put as many ball hawks on your field as possible. ( at least 2 outside cbs, 2 up top safeties, and 1 middle defender/ or the slot db)

Unless you are the OP using a diff name, which I dont believe is true, I am not sure how you extrapolated that from the OP. Alignment wasn't mentioned or even hinted at. I am in agreement with you that the game has alignment issues vs some formations. That is more of a game glitch, which hopefully will be addressed at some point (doubtful this year but MAYBE next).
While the set he mentioned specifically doesn't automatically bust match, we know there are several in the bunch family that will. And the bunch alignment makes man very difficult to consistently use. I think vlad provided the long term approach to addressing. Zone with random custom man assignments. Must be supplemented with switch stick. And that doesn't apply to just bunch formations. Defense is tough. Without a pass rush, coverage is nearly impossible. We just try to slow the O and make them take as many shots as possible before scoring to increase the chances of a bad read and not-dropped int.
Fortunately, there aren't many great passers. You can beat 98% of players without needing to do much of what has been discussed.
