That shit pmtfo
I hate the teams that are overpowered, but still abuse cheese blitzes and shit. Had one dude with a bad team try, and i had to leave my RB in passblock

Good reason why I went ahead and deleted the game again. Everyone tries to exploit the game and not actually play real football. Feel like last year's game, at least it was competitive in h2h and not whatever this is.

Part of football brother as annoying as it may be you have to learn how to block a blitz game will be a breeze, I love the players who blitz heavy every play easiest players to score on lol

the best CFB teams in the country blitz 3/4 of the time. Don’t get mad about the pressure figure out how to block it and make the adjustments. Then it’s like I shouldnt have to make 4 adjustments to block the line. Well that’s what you have to do in real life every play. There are levels to this. It’s chess and if your gonna come out in some offense that your really just running not understanding th concepts of course I’m gonna blitz the living hell out of you, you don’t know how play football.

Not saying that I don't agree with this because I do

This is unequivocally false. According to PFF and StatsBomb (Hudl), Pitt and Notre Dame have the highest blitz rates at 50% and 45% respectively. Neither of which are even in the playoff. Most teams, including every single one of the top 10 teams blitz closer to 25% or 30% of plays. So, you can try to justify spamming mid blitz all you want, but you’re just demonstrating that you don’t know ball and you have to try to cheese to win, like most of the top players. The fact of the matter is, most of you didn’t play ball past your high school JV team and you ruin what could be a fun game just to stroke your ego. And before someone says “skill issue”, I have rarely have issues with mid blitz cheese
Listen I’m putting up 4 to 5 quick adjustments every play. I mostly run cover one in a cover 3 shell. That being said I think your understanding of the blitz rate is what’s wrong here. Most top teams in the country show 5-7 rushers with different people dropping into coverage to try and confuse the line and get instant sacks. Example nick saben and Kirby smart both run/ran the man hybrid blitz scheme with manned up outside corners and 6-7 shown ever time so lineman will blow there assignments. I do understand the mid blitz frustration but it’s not hard to beat at all. and it is a foundation of a lot of real defenses in the league and college. It’s also not uncommon for the defense to stay in the same set and just adjust leverage all game ( the Seahawks) I understand the frustration but there is really a way to stop it beat it and make it work for you. If I was playing someone that was so bad that im just touching them in midblitz then what the hell run it. If your hitting 3 pointers one after the other you don’t just stop shooting…..once again this just comes back to people go up against good players and they have nothing in there bag for any type of blitz or loop or disguised coverage. These people want to play checkers not chess

Have to agree with you. The people that don’t know how to block/beat different blitzes always want to blame the game instead knowing how to make adjustments. This game is far from perfect but don’t think the blitz is the problem. I can name others before even thought about that.

Don’t move the goal post because I proved what you said to be incorrect. You’re now describing simulated pressure after saying the top teams blitz 75% of the time. There’s a massive difference between simulated pressure and blitzing, so I think it’s your understanding that is incorrect. Also, Saban is far more known for his match coverage, which is similar to man, but far more complex than simply adjusting leverage. Additionally there’s a massive difference between putting 5 guys at the LOS and 7 guys. These guys putting 7 at the LOS every play would get torched by slot fades, tunnel screens, etc., but not on this game. It is only realistic on 3rd and 5+. Finally, let me guess, you’re a single mug Cov 1 with the Tex 4 man stunt kinda guy. This too is incredibly unrealistic to run every single down and is taking advantage of offensive line logic for two reasons. First, this defense would be awful against the run because of lack of gap discipline, but that is not the case on this game. Second, in pass protection, this should be picked up by a standard 5 man rip/liz half slide man/zone protection scheme. But no, on this game and you have to keep your back in to block a 4 man rush with 6 guys. So sure, you guys can say “chess not checkers,” all you want, but let’s be real, none of you are the defensive geniuses that you think you are.
Nick sabens defenses are 100% hybrid man and zone. The outside boundary corner is almost always maned up with the corner 3 match shell around it. Of course they throw different schemes within it but for the most part it’s the same scheme with different leverage usually showing 6. It’s called cover 7 and they ran it almost every play or some altered version of it. Almost always staying in the 3-4

My favorite is when people send 2 rushers and still get through because the blocker literally watches as the defender runs by
