How I feel about CUT 26(If you don't like rant's, skip over this)

Okay, So last year. Some people from what I've gathered  complained about recent players in game. So CUT 26 decided to select only a select few. I'd say most promos have been fine, Rivals is a good concept, Conference Tour is Has so much potential. I'm gonna explain a little bit now. I've played EA Ultimate Teams for almost a decade. So i feel conference tour has a shot at become college football's version of Journey's from madden 19. The premise of Journey's in Madden 19 was to show talent around the league, and basically the same is being implemented but with Conference atm, rewards are cool, Jordan Tyson is Really nice as a Budget. But as we all know. That wouldn't be a reasonable ranting point. So here's the bread and butter, Pack odds and Rewards for completing challenges. 

Legends(alumni):

Legends in CUT in my opinion is done far worse in comparison to ultimate team, Last year alumni was basically recent players(Allen, Bijan etc.) , now alumni is basically legends, and the card selection is also pretty bad. I could basically go through every season, and say that card should NOT have came out before this one, for example, Jalen hurts got a LTD before Baker And Kyler??? If i ask any Oklahoma fan they are not picking Hurts before those two. Also, you usually every few weeks thru challenges you get a full legend in Madden 26, you most likely wont get much doing your challenges for alumni.

Rush:

Soft spot for some, But Rush Player selection wise feels too uninspired, most Rush cards atm were rush cards last year... Maybe spice it up, Throw in like a Leonard Fournette, or Jameis Winston, Or a Tedd Ginn Jr with 95 speed or something, or even(which baffles me) is the fact that there has not been a LSU OBJ in Cut 25 or 26 or even worse, not even a Percy Harvin???? These are so many highlight players which would be fun cards for rush, Even like a Jahmyr Gibbs Rush card would be nice. 

Ranksgiving:

Good Cards, Had cool legends, But come on, I love BM(Braxton Miller) but there is no way he is a better QB than stroud. Cardale Jones brought us to that natty, and Zeke won that natty. CJ would've probably won a Natty if not a blocked Kick and a wide FG.

Pack Odds:

I feel like there is a better chance of Bonnie Blue not having a STD then me pulling any LTD that's not behind a 50$+ paywall, If anyone watches TheActualCC, he's got lucky recently but his dry streak was literally unacceptable considering he spends hundreds. Last LTD i pulled was Marshal Faulk.... Let that sink in.

The tower:

Just pure Brainless behavior. Rewards are cool. Just pure 9 to 5 levels of just mindless work.

In conclusion, the mode in Year 2 is Pretty good, but if it looks like this in year 12 that's when it gets bad. What's yall thoughts?

I agree with what you said. As a whole though(based on your topic)this game is horrible. The game had so much potential based on CFB 25(which in my opinion was solid, if comparing to 26). I think this was a very bad step backwards. The line last year was horrible for a good portion of the game but this is just bad this year and continues to be that way. Don't even get me started with the defense, the AI's have no idea what they are doing. DDA has destroyed the game to the point where it takes me and my buddy 2-3 minutes to find a game because it is dead. I do think the cards have been cool but sloppy traits and bad stats is what hurts the drops. The rewards from the pass are super mid and really nothing grinding for(if grinding for, the rewards are not worth it). Lastly, going back to the player drops, it is super frustrating getting the same position over and over again. We ask for line and that only happens in small occasions or decent players for certain positions that are not constantly LTD's. Overall, not a good year for this game.

I feel like at least half the releases each week need to be legends. Nothing more of a letdown than getting dupes of current day guys (who I probably couldn’t care less about unless they play for my school- which is a different topic) when they have the rights to so many good names that they’re just Gatekeeping. I wish there were ways to grind like the show (x amount of yards from players from this conference gets you this card etc.) and more sets to collect/complete. Just a terrible format of getting BND cards can’t go into sets/collect them. Sets now are garbage/way overpriced with minimal payoff. 

Player choices have been super up and down. A couple of cool choices but again with so many names there’s no reason it should be as lackluster as it is especially for “legends” when they have the entire NFL/Retired players list. Honestly just wish there was more to grind for in terms of cards (in a stat/gameplay way not comp) and more/better legends. Current day guys get extremely when half of them are just SEC player and the other half come from the same schools.

It’s like they can’t find a middle man. There is multiple options for Line Players, this is why i think they should bring Power Up’s back. Allow the ability to upgeade these lineman…. TBH that litterally would make theme teams possible. It would solve a Lot, would solve almost all card problems if that was the case. Gameplay can be fixed if they.. which i get people don’t wanna hear… but take like a 1-2 year break and perfect gameplay. Would make the game smoother.
