The field pass is a tad bit better than last year but you likely still won’t pull anything that’ll make your team. I was addicted to last years game because I love cfb and it was new but I’m burnt out. Nothing to keep you engaged came out on this years game. The gameplay is worse than last years and even having enough currency to never have to spend again I’m still done. The game just sucks. It’s the same thing every week and extremely boring. It’ll be awhile before I purchase another
This is spot on.
It's sad the market prices seem to be a reflection of how many people left, but I on the other hand love college football it is the only sport I care for so ill stick through it. if the juiced odds for awhile that would definitely bring people back if they knew they were getting more champs and LTDs than set minimum cards. Each season has had a rush and we will see this rush what is left they really need to juice odds and offer top notch content for a good amount of time to provide CPR to this game. New legends of the sport people want need to be dropped like guys who were legends of thier schools history but werent pro big names that we havent seen yet. Tommy Frazier, Rashaan Salaam, Andre Ware, Troy Smith, Matt Leinart, Colt McCoy, Archie Griffin, Brady Quinn, Jamarcus Russell, Trent Richardson, Jared Lorenzen, Jason White, Sam Bradford, the names could go on and on get people invested because you are respecting their schools' history and make these players good and more common to pull.
I agree with what y'all are saying. The pack odds are terrible, most of the promos suck, some of the gameplay is broken, and there's no real incentive to keep playing. I much prefer CFB25. The pack odds, gameplay, and field passes were better. I think a lot of the community is tired of EA being greedy and money hungry instead of fixing/improving the game. So a lot of us are leaving the game. I might be done with it in a couple of days when BF6 comes out.

Hopefully EA won't mess that game up too. But I think EA will eventually do EA things.
EA’s greed killed the game. The Que times are definitely longer, and the market is insanely high because there aren’t as many cards in circulation. They Made everything BND so you’d have to spend money. Made the pack odds terrible so you have to buy more and more. The training roll odds are exponentially worse than they were when the game was released. They lost a huge portion of its player base banning players because they want all the micro transaction money. If the packs they sold weren’t a complete rip off people wouldn’t have gone to third party sites. They continue to sell new packs in the store but won’t fix the AH bidding issue or the Jardin Gilbert one. These are just some off the issues I haven’t even brought up game play. At the end of the day it comes back to greed they sold their company at a high value and couldn’t care less where the cards fall.
I don't play the H2H or online dynasties, so my experience it different than many on the board. I am more invested in this year's game than last year's since my school was added this season so I have that local/personal investment that haven't had since the old NCAA Football games. That said, the challenges & matchup on UT are getting a bit repetitive and stale.

Agreed. It would be nice to get all those guys you listed.

I feel the same way. People have always noticed the greed but maybe now people are finally taking a stand to make EA change their profit model.

Right? It seems like EA lost the plot here. A lot of us play this game because we truly love college football as a separate game than the NFL. They have tried to make the CUT too much like MUT. If they appeal to those fans who want to play with players that were amazing to watch for the few years they had at college and fix the major glitches people will come back. Give us players that we loved in college that weren’t stars in the NFL and increase the odds of pulling them for a while and I think people would come back. It’s still college football season. It is still on peoples minds give people a reason to want to play again.
Hard to say which bothers me more, the obvious cash grabs implemented into every single fiber of the game, or when I play Squads with my buddies, one of us (and usually someone from the other team) gets disconnected or desynced every single game. And on top of that, we receive an L for it, no matter what. We switched to a different game last night.
I stopped playing close to when 2k came out so you can say thats probably the same for some ppl but before i stopped, I wasnt being rewarded for playing, I pre ordered the game, even bought the premium pass first season and every pack i would get would be a dud.. I never pulled LTDs fr, but I was able to work the auction house to get a lot of coins so I could get who I wanted but it was time consuming as no money spent.. Not dumping my money into products that dont reward me anymore..
I played so much last year, this year I played it a lot up until 2K came out. Now I only play CUT a couple times a week. It just gets repetitive and boring for me so I just like to play Rec on 2K.
