Where is everybody?

I’ve been seeing posts/comments surfacing on various platforms about people frustrated and/or leaving this game. I don’t think much of it bc I have my own issues with the game and it’s pretty common for the community to be frustrated with EA. But I have noticed recently games are taking longer to match opponents. Anyone else notice this? 

Over the weekend, by my 4th gauntlet game I was waiting over a minute to match opponents. 

H2H modes 15-20 sec which is relatively short but in 25 games would match instantly. Especially during peak cfb season. I don’t think anyone plays the H2H tier mode. Never get matches. 

 I guess I’m wondering if this game truly is dying out? I still prefer 25 gameplay and played it all the way until 26 came out. Again, it definitely had its own issues but due to lack of competition I still play 26. A lot of us waited so long for a college game to come back but feels like EA has already killed this franchise.

combo of things....seen a ban wave, promos not very good, gameplay bad, rewards stink, etc..... ppl are just tired of the BS

Agree with all of that. I have heard about the ban wave. Probably did damage banning people that didn’t do anything wrong. EA being EA. We want you spending not playing the market.

All risk, no reward leads to boring play….boring play leads to new games. 
I was so addicted to this game last year…some didn’t like it but it was still awesome. 
This year’s game is different. Not just gameplay, but the blatant wallet grabs, and playing for no reason even helped me kick my habit. 
Still show up every now and then, but this game is cooked. The jig is up until we all fall for it again next year.

I don't think people will be playing college football next year because GTA comes out

I agree with the comments above I also am taking a leave of absence lol the game is just stale. You aren’t rewarded for grinding. The field pass is a tad bit better than last year but you likely still won’t pull anything that’ll make your team. I was addicted to last years game because I love cfb and it was new but I’m burnt out. Nothing to keep you engaged came out on this years game. The gameplay is worse than last years and even having enough currency to never have to spend again I’m still done. The game just sucks. It’s the same thing every week and extremely boring. It’ll be awhile before I purchase another

I was addicted to last year as well. It wasn’t perfect but now playing this years game I wish it would have stayed with 25 gameplay.

Gameplay is terrible.  Defense is even more impossible to play than last year and that’s saying something.  EA does not care about players once they get your money.  Taking my little talent elsewhere.

I agree.  Gameplay they screwed it up.  I would still be on CFB25 if people still played it.

Agreed. They needed to tweak 25 not revamp the whole thing.

Ironically I did pay for EA points and they still banned me permanently I guess unless my next appeal works.  Very bizarre business to penalize paying customers.  I got accused of coin farming which I never did.

They killed the game mode with trash cards/rewards/making the grind way longer than the payout is worth. They are intentionally killing this mode. Dropping Michael Sam tomorrow is a prime example of the devs intentionally ignoring any community request. They’re trolling us.

Even zirskee is done with this game. That says a lot. I do my dailys, weekly, and milestones. That's it. Then its on to madden. 

We're stuck with all these cards whether there bnd or not. Anything below an 86 is worthless. The sets this year are worse then last year. We've got nothing to do with our crappy cards. Oh yeah. Training. Which is basically nothing. 

Might finish this field pass and come back in a few months. Haven't dropped any money in about 2 months on this game.

I usually play 2 games before I leave for work in the morning. 

 I tried Extra Credit.....couldn't find an opponent.

I went to H2H Reg Season.....couldn't find an opponent.

I went to Ranked.....couldn't find an opponent.

Then tried both Homecoming and Campus Tour Events......and never matched with an opponent.

I've never had an issue like that before.

The defensive gameplay just isn't consistent enough.  Last night I put House Calls on all of my defensive backs.....and didn't get a pick in the games I played.
