CFB got super stale to me about a month ago but I keep checking to see if they ever add any interesting cards. They sure don’t it’s insane how every card on CFB has the exact same stats every 90 is 89-91 there’s no outliers or special cards. Madden has 79 ovrs with 88-89 speed and it just makes the game feel like you’re actually using your players
I hate the arcade pokemon avengers super powers in Madden......then the game gets even worse with OOP
Playbooks, can’t run any type of bone in madden
I've not been a huge fan of Madden since Madden 19 or 20. I played 21 for maybe 2 weeks, didn't buy 22 or 23, tried 24 and 25 and hated both of them and stopped playing within a month or so, so I haven't bothered playing Madden anymore.
My biggest complaint with Madden (outside of the horrendous camera angle) is the abilities. In CFB, abilities are nice to have, but they feel pretty minimal in their impact. In Madden, it feels like you're playing a World of Warcraft football game with all the abilities you can stack on top of guys then you have glowing Xfactors that made the guy turn into Superman for a certain amount of time. It's just way too much for me to enjoy. (I stopped playing CUT last year once we go to the end game where everyone had platinum abilities and the only cards being used were QBs with Platinum Extender and WRs with Platinum takeoff. Felt like Madden where players with show abilities at super powers).
Funny thing is, despite me not playing Madden at all anymore and exclusively playing CFB, I don't really follow College Football outside of MTSU and some of the top 25 schools just to see how they perform. Where as with the NFL, I follow every game , play fantasy football, watch the talking head shows and listen to podcasts, etc. I just genuinely enjoy CFB more than I do Madden despite thinking CFB 26 is a step backwards in terms of gameplay (content is a million times better this year).
My only real complaints of CFB are the lack of defense this year, no real "budget beast" cards (though the market is so much cheaper than Madden it isn't really necessary), and lack of alternate uniforms. Otherwise, I find it way more enjoyable, personally.
Madden playbooks are SO borning and the gameplay doesn't feel the same. I think they both have strengths on the gameplay side but CFB is more my style.
I'm a diehard college football fan. NFL isn't as exciting for me. Therefore I will stick with Cfb26 and future iterations. Before CFB came back I would play Madden maybe once every 5 years just to have some football, it just doesn't interest me.
I am actually more of a NFL fan, but I consider CFB to be the better game graphically, gameplay wise, and to have the better camera angles. Actually I consider madden to be unplayable with the changes it made to its camera angles. If Madden's cameras were to stay that way for every installment moving forward, I'd probably never go back to the game. I am surprised more people have not complained. It's disgusting. I also prefer Road to CFP over Madden regs.
As an honorable mention, I also think CFB's abilities philosophy to be better than Madden's. Again, I prefer NFL, but CFB is just much better.

This
Game easier to grind with school/work
I play both equally to be honest. Mostly CPU modes and I do spend money on both, however what I find a little more exciting is team building in CFB. I don't follow college football much at all like I do the NFL so I don't have a vested interest in the cards like I in Madden. I don't run a theme or scheme team yet so I've just been having fun using what I get from pack luck and a few select AH purchases.
I can’t stand the gameplay on madden … this game is by far the better game .. better market.. less sharks… coins not as important to stack over here either …. Plus we got over 100 schools so the matchups are always different …I have like 70 plus a schools I rotate to keep it interesting… madden MUT is so repetitive as well due to the nfl being a small league and lack of player rights … I’m free to play … besides season pass… I have 2 mill coins and 89 off 90 defense … what more do I need … free to play gives me everything I need but not necessarily what I want but it’s free so I can’t complain
College football is just more enjoyable and you have lots of players teams playbooks to choose from Madden just has the same limited rosters teams and playbooks they are even trying to make Madden play like college football now because of the success of college football 25 over Madden last year
