It's not hard.

Get your 2 first downs as you normally would and the 3rd will come when you score the touchdown.

Yea, scoring the Td on your 3rd play counts even if under 10 yards. Also, there is another hit stick objective that took me 15 tries to funallly get one.

Is someone trying to sabotage the game and get everyone to hate it and stop playing it?

The hit stick challenges are absurd. The amount of times I've decleated someone with a hit stick and not get credit for it is comical at this point.

NO EA just wants you to go over to MUT and spend more money on Points.  Metrics show those who spend on CUT will also spend on MUT when the paint is still drying.  

I am playing the Madden 10 trial and I feel like the game is so similar in the end, same engine, same scummy tactics with pack weight.  I just like this College game better overall.

so you need to get both 3 first downs with a td being counted as a third and 14 rushing yards in two plays?  I can't figure it out.

The 3rd first down counts if you score a TD, regardless of distance

This challenge was simple for me and I got hit stick on second try, Ben Bolton is a god amongst men

TD counts as the 3rd and final 1st Down.

I think you may be right about getting players to jump over to MUT.  

I am slightly disappointed in CUT so far this year. I thought last year was pretty good and I enjoyed it a lot.

But this year....

Every card I got is BND. And the training values are ridiculously low. If you quick sell a bunch of low 80 OVRs, you have enough training to get another low 80 OVR if you are lucky. But you need to more than luck to overcome the duplicate generator. I have had so many duplicate rewards. The random generator needs fixed. I have has 4 or 5 of the same cards a few times over.

I have not been able to complete a set yet, and we are at the end of season 1.

The premium field pass rewards did not seem like they were very good, so I passed on that.

The Booster Packs were great last year and helped a person keep up and carry a competitive team. This year there are like 6 or 7 purchases for the booster packs. I can not believe that many people are going to buy a booster pack and spend real money for a players that are 78 or 79. It is more like a reduction pack since nearly everyone has 84-86 OVR teams.

The play has been god-awful. Defensive backs drop easy interceptions. My 85 OVR QB constantly throws bad pass. My QB has under thrown or over thrown so many for no reason it is sickening.

I finally completed the challenges today. The challenges have been different this year and are doing more to make people hate the game rather than enjoy playing the game.

Yes, it does seems like they are trying to get more people to go play MUT. That is a shame because some people, like me, play both and that is not necessary. And the people that happen to only be interested in CUT are being punished for no reason. This game was not this bad last year....What happened? Whatever is going on feels like sabotage.

I really hope they have some improvements for season 2.
