Hit sticks…

Am I the only one who almost never lands a good hit stick? Is there a trick to it this year? What exactly is the icon feedback where you get different colors over the players head? Sometimes they are all green or all red or half n half. Sometimes yellow etc etc

for the challenges, my best results come when I put my Defense on Prevent D, and that lets them catch or run ball early which gives you time to take a few steps to turbo-hit stick into tackles.  It doesn't work every time, so just be patient.  Others have said that using the CUT Stick (down on stick) works as well but I don't use that method.

Same. It’s broken, yet they keep dropping solos with it in.

Yea I’m not even talking about the dumb challenges. I saw that wasn’t working since day 1. But even in game man, h2h online, they almost never land. Even with players that have a good hit power rating and tackle rating. It’s like I can’t figure out the timing. Just seems way different than last year cfb or madden. And I’d like to know what the feedback icons/colors mean above their head when you tackle someone

It works fine . You have to let go of the speed burst and just flick...  help go to options and turn on hit read out... It will tell you every hit your rating and if you hit good or bad...
