Need some help running the ball

So as I’ve said before, returning from a 4 year madden break, I used to be good at running the ball, but I can’t get anything consistently going in CFB.

I never press turbo til I’m in space, my o line are all 85 plus, and yet my opponents seem to consistently blow my runs up.

Any suggestions of particular runs that are working for you guys or any tips?

Run game in CUT is tough right now. I have noticed that I can get some extra yards on inside runs by using only the left stick. Seems like any input to do a spin/juke/stuff arm/truck initiates block sheds same as the acceleration input. Also, I've noticed the O-line full slide in CUT seems to be much better than MUT. So now I slide the direction of  my outside run play.

Look at your pre play run fits. In certain runs your OT will be set to block a corner, 2nd level lb, or saftey not even in the play instead of the DE or LB right in front of him. He will let that guy come free if you don’t motion TE or Receiver to that side then check your run fits again. Make sure everyone on the DL are covered. It’s ridiculous this has to be done but if DE is coming free getting you in backfield it’s bc OT wasn’t set to block him…another issue EA needs to fix.
