Challenges won’t give the bonus stars

I’ve tried the challenges multiple times and completed all the bonus requirements, but will not get the stars on any challenge. I’ve had the game for a couple of weeks and I keep thinking it will get fixed, but no luck so far. Is anyone else having this issue? 

Any help fixing it is greatly appreciated

Which challenges?

Hit sticks?

Or just none of them in general?
