Still finding mine, but spent a few hours this evening resurrecting my old shotgun split back scheme. Not quite there yet but it’s getting there. Working out the counters to the cheese.

On reflection ‘6’ is my go to play from Air Raid Gun Ace (4 verts from a gun spread). I adjust the routes based on pre snap reads like a WR would do in the Air Raid. For example, off coverage convert to curl, outside leverage on a slot WR convert to quick out, 2 high safeties post a slot, and stick a comeback on the short side as a bail out.

Watched a 1 and a half hour clinic once of Mike Leach breaking down this play and it’s always stuck with me.
