Does weight affect who is at the DT position even if the edge player has higher stats in all categories than an actual DT?

It’s supposed to but I’ve seen little difference. Also the way they programmed 3 man fronts is messed up so in order to run a true 3-4 defense, you have to mess with DT and Edge rushers. It’s defaults to 3 DT’s Edge and one Will/SAM LB. I can’t stand that…. i play an edge at DT now and it’s worked fine.
