I’ve just come back from a 4 year madden break, so this is the first time playing CFB apart from a few games at the end to see how it was playing. I think the break did me good!

oh nice
If you have to wonder which one you should play then stick to Madden. The CFB community does not waiver on that garbage can of a game. Stay on that siden

I was so far behind that I just stopped playing it and just played MUT25. In your opinions, which is better and why, Thank you
CUT26 is feeling quite a bit slowed down, in terms of pure gameplay, when directly compared with CUT25. I'm not the best person to gauge such things, as i'm at best a casual, probably way more n00b...
i'm hoping the opposite is true for MUT, that M26 gameplay will feel quite a bit sped up (more liek college) as opposed to M25, which really leaned into the "simulation" aspects of the game, which sucks a lot of the fun factor out. All of the M25 skill moves were nerfed into the dirt, so unless you were using a fat or tall player model, you probably couldn't even appreciate the glitchy ass spin move.
I ended up logging ~15 hours of CUT25, compared with 1500+ hours of MUT25. YMMV, but i'm heavily biased in favor of Madden. The college game lacks parity, I guess if you went to a D1 school (i did not) perhaps it's fun to watch yer favorite team beat up on the sister's of the poor most Saturdays, but anyone claiming that college football is competitive is just plain delusional. I prefer best on best, any given Sunday, so my personal preferences lean heavily into the professional level.
