CUT 26 needs a lot of improvement

I played this game and instead of taking a step forward it went backwards. I’m basically playing Mut 25, the mechanics and movement is clunky like your player is stuck on quicksand. Desync are everywhere. You opponent doesn’t even have to intentionally create the desync glitch it will just desync by itself. Also the pack odds are horrible and solo challenges are frustratingly difficult. I understand you don’t have a good team but be realistic with the solo challenges. It seems like EA intended to make it really difficult for you to spend more money other than getting the deluxe version.

Make it right this game is worst than cut 25. The only issue we had for cut 25 was lack of content. You could have kept the same gameplay mechanics as cut 25 and increased the content smh.

Very disappointing was hoping it would be a step up but not 2 steps down smh……..

I definitely agree with you about the challenges. Some of them feel nearly impossible unless you have an 80+ overall which is hard to do at this stage of the game. I've never struggled in years past with CUT or MUT with day 1 challenges like I have with these.

Tell me about it. I have been playing ultimate team for 8 years these days 1 challenges are the hardest ever. I’m not a bad player, I’m average or little above average. Certainly not a pro or elite player. Even with the 4600 points no way you getting a 80 overall team at the get go.

You claim u got a refund and quit the game. What is that rationale for continuing to post here?

I am NMS. I haven't found most of the challenges to be difficult. My team is sub 80 (i think 78 at the moment). I would likely find them easy with Dickerson.

80 would be reasonable to achieve with 4600 points and crossover players actually being given. 

My c9mplaint about the solos is there are some like tower that are intentionally unfun. I get offering us a grind to earn a free player but it still should attempt to be enjoyable.

I’ve had the opposite experience with pack odds. I’ve pulled 3 LTDs so far from field pass/challenge packs, not from buying packs.

They’ve all been BND sadly, one was a dupe so QS for 65K. Rest of the cards are mostly BND from challenges and then a few solo season packs.

Totally agree, not enjoying it so far…biggest gripe is the clunky slow movement. Also really hate how they took away the ability to base align in certain coverages…tackling is better on this game, but defense seems worse overall…idk how they managed to accomplish that but they did

I have an 81 team now and I can play defense and pass effectively in the solos, but running is a beeyotch. The CPU seems to know your plays and calls effective defenses. Runners break very few tackles and blocking is piss poor.

All they needed to do was add more content and have better tackling. They didn’t need to change the game mechanics and movement.

So I’ve been on a journey. Used to be a hardcore Madden player but haven’t played for 4 years.

At first I was the same as you, frustrated at the game and finding it hard.

Now I’ve cracked two things. Mid blitz for solos works a treat - kinda dull you have to spam the same play but hey.

Then I worked out the timing of the routes. Everything is count based eg comeback is 4, hitch is 3, quick out 1 Etc etc. Hop into practice mode, call a route, let it play out and count it out so you can see when to hit the WR on the cut. I then started free styling 4 verts and built from there, adding more plays.

Essentially I call the WR choice routes pre snap, if I see the CB playing off I change a vert to a hitch, and so on just like the choice a WR makes in an Air raid offense. Comebacks are extremely effective if you time them. Then some zigs and returns. Meanwhile I change up what my HB is doing a lot for check downs.

I’m still searching for the perfect playbook for the scheme I’m building but getting there and starting to enjoy the game more.
