Season 1 strategy?

Last year was my first doing any sort of UT in any game and I started late game. I was content to spend money to make up for lack of skill and time (didn’t help). This year figured I’d try money ball stuff for fun since I will be trash regardless. I used some of the 4600 points and pulled Ashton stamps and was surprised to sell him near $400k. 

With that in mind, does it make any sense not to sell every higher overall at this stage in the game? From what I gather ~85 overalls are outdated quick. I feel like I could have millions in coins with ease where last year it seemed like a chore.

Accordingly, what point in the game does it make sense to spend coin? Last year Moss and Earl Thomas were useful almost all year for me. Do you wait till 99s drop?

Calling any card outdated when the game hasn't even released yet is the biggest misconception you could start with

Please do correct anything I misstated. If 85s are good for a solid month or more I’d definitely rethink the approach

I mean coins specifically, not money. In context, I noticed I can make a lot of coin early selling 85s.  I mentioned that last year I started moss and earl Thomas for months. With that in mind… does it make sense to save coins until 99s come out? I’m wondering at what point/season it makes sense to spend those coins on players. I don’t want to drop $300k on a player that’s outdated in no time.

Start by finding the cheapest players possible that either/or/both fit your team and scheme. Stack better players slowly, You want a TEAM first
