EA banned me from the auction house....then took my coins twice

Hey everyone,

Reaching out to see if anyone else has had experience with getting a sanction from EA or being banned?

Quick history, I started to play CUT with my 2 sons in February, and we have found it very difficult to earn coins. We all have our own accounts, and more recently we started to work together to build up 1 account so we could complete challenges and compete online.

I will be upfront and honest to say that we started to pool coins in 1 account, and as lucrative as that sounds, all of our grinding had yielded us only about 800k coins. Then last week, EA reached out to say we were guilty of "Coin Distribution" and they would sanction the account by taking all the coins. At the time we only had about 300k coins, and while it sucked, we were guilty of what they said and accepted our punishment.

So the following day, we got to work, honestly grinding coins and rebuilding from $0. After the first day of grinding solos/H2H/selling cards, we were at about $100k coins, however that evening I received another message from EA to say once again we were being sanctioned for coin distribution, but this time we lost our coins and were banned from the auction house.

I am 100% being honest when I say we did not do any additional coins distribution activity after we received the first sanction. I reached out to EA support, filed a case and after 5 days they came back saying the punishment was correct for what we had done, case closed. I again reached out to explain that any of that activity was before the initial sanction, and again after 5 days I got a reply to say the punishment was correct and they would not go into detail any further.

Needless to say we are frustrated, and kinda defeated over this heavy handed actions. I know we have less then 3 weeks left in 25, but it's left we with serious doubts on whether we should spend any more money on this brand.

With all the problems in this game, and then the complete lack of accountability and support on known issues, it's hard to have a finger wagged in my direction when EA skates by clean.

Honestly, if i was to get an AH ban, that would be the last EA game I ever buy. I don't buy coins or share between accounts so ideally would never face this problem. If EA wanted to end coin buying from 3rd parties, they could do so really easy by offering coins at a reasonable price for purchase in the store. It is funny, however, how gung ho they are towards their customers who do this yet do not hold themselves accountable for their failures with this game (Champs not counting games). EA has cost themselves way more money than coin buying ever will. It's not even that close.

F ea. the drop rate in packs is atrocious, and their paid Packs are way too expensive. Things were far better 5-7 years ago when I could buy all the coins I wanted from coin sellers, then buy the exact cards I wanted. CFB25 is my last with this garbage product.

Hey, I know it sucks to be in this situation, really sorry you're dealing with it. Unfortunately, using multiple accounts, even if it doesn’t seem like a big deal, is something EA usually cracks down on pretty hard. The safest ways to earn coins without risking a ban are just grinding games or flipping cards in the auction house like most people do. It might feel frustrating, but staying within those methods is the best way to avoid getting flagged. Hopefully you’re able to bounce back from this.

Not sharing my opinion, but if you weren't aware, transferring coins between multiple accounts that you own is not allowed. It's called farming, and EA no longer allows it and does ban for it. Good luck with your situation.

The guy acknowledged his guilt with his original transgression. He was penalized.

He started over and did no wrong. He was penalized again. That is not kosher behavior for EA.

Thanks Legend, and as noted in my original message, I was made aware of that from EA and I take full responsibility for those actions and the punishment I received.

My issue is I was then issued a second penalty the next day and from what I am aware of I didn't break any other rules, infact I didnt sell anything in the auction house, just bought a couple 97s to roll some training.

I've created 3-4 cases, and every time EA just responds with this type of vague wording

"We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures.

Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account.

You can review the full User Agreement at http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/

After completing two full investigations into your complaint, we consider this matter closed."

So no explanation from them on what led to the 2nd punishment.

Meanwhile today Im trying to grind out 1 more win in champs to get to 13, and had 3 consecutive wins that didnt count because my opponent didnt quit.

It's embarrassing that EA just sits behind their support email like a wall, meanwhile the players are spending hours trying to find workarounds. Pretty pathetic.

I will be honest, their support is lacking to say the least. One thing that sometimes works is if you're not getting anywhere with the support agent assigned to your case is to close the ticket and open a new one, which would be assigned to a new agent. Sometimes it helps - not always. Good luck with it. I know it's super frustrating.

This is one of the main reasons that kill the game. Can't trade cards and too much BND nonsense and that I'm cheating for sending coins to my brother in the next room.

I sold a card that was going for 490k and for 200k to a friend of mine that I play duos with and they wiped all my coins 5.6 million gone. There's absolutely nothing that can be done to get it back. I've called them. They said I broke the rules. They said I was coin farming. Makes absolutely no sense. If I'm spending my money buying packs and sell a card out of a pack lower than what it's supposed to be sold for, that's none of their business. If they're worried about me selling it for a lower price, they shouldn't allow it to be sold for a lower price then

I had around 50 million legitimate coins removed from my account. You're never going to get them back. I have to deal with EA Support all the damn time now. I doubt they help you unless you spend money on packs. They never give me anything back for their screwups.

They instituted a card limit of 1200 recently and I had 2000, so they straight up deleted 800 of them. I went to support and they said I was out of luck.

EA's entire business model is this:

>Create a terrible game that's legitimately only worth $10.
>Every year reintroduce basic features or things from previous years as something "new," alongside acting like fixing the worst issues is a groundbreaking new feature.
>Create no real content for the game, lazily put together some cards for three promos a week that you want $100 each to "participate" in, which just means buying packs, because nothing else exists for it
>When people play H2H, it's nothing mindless losers cheating constantly. Literally 90% of your games are the exact same thing against the exact same glitches.
>When the cheating's not enough to save the fatherless bums, then EA flips the switch for DDA to ensure that you "lose," and they're handed a free "win" to make them feel far better than they ever should in order to fulfill their quotas to make the vile morons who created the systems and think the way to retain players is to artificially create outcomes.
>If you try to make coins, you can't do it too quickly, otherwise you get banned with no recourse.
>Wanna complete sets, challenges, etc? Well, you know, sometimes you're just not going to get the reward and you're just gonna have to deal with it.
>Oh, you wanna play Champs? Well, you kind of can't, because if the game goes to the end, you get screwed out of your rewards.
>Oh, you were in your Playoffs or Natty, or at 8 wins in Gauntlet? It'd be a real shame if the awful servers booted you off for the umpteenth time or you were unlucky enough to get some bum who boots you off in one way or another.
>Oh, you want to contact EA and try to get the rewards you earned, but were screwed out of by EA? Go ahead and waste your time getting in a chat with some random Indian "named Jake" who does nothing but lie about what they can and can't do because EA just hates the players.

These games are literally unplayable scams that solely exist as some sort of cruel, torturous joke on normal people. And this isn't remotely up for debate, just sit back and actually think about what it would take to make Madden and CFB legitimately good games. The answer is it'd take a comically minor amount of effort and care, and if they did it, they'd at least triple their revenue on the games. But instead, EA maintains the status-quo because they literally hate you.
