The problem: when you click R3 to send the spy, players in coverage will also abandon their responsibilities to attack the QB.
Solution: make 1 click just send the spy. Make a 2nd click responsible for sending additional players.

I know I can't be the only one that sees this as a problem, yet one that is easy to fix...
It must be style of play. When I use coverage and a spy, the QB will start to roll out. When I engage spy, my coverage also bails. I get having the closest defender respond if there is no spy, but it shouldn't happen if a spy is on the field.
Isn't there a setting to delay the switch stick to prevent accidental switch at snap? I havent looked in a while, but I thought there was somwthing

I 100% agree with this. Pursuit is so bad is you wait to send spy too late or is useless and if on time you lose the coverage

I have noticed this as well I feel like the R3 to send a player is really bad this year in general. I’ll click it once and either no will disengage or like 3 people will
