Is there any real effect in game when playing players out of position, if so do I really need to put that ability on to prevent a “negative rating” feel like it’s a waste of ap if examples are needed here yea go

Not sure on defense, but on the Oline ive noticed players are trash when out of position..
I’ve put LEs at RE and vice versa all season for example so I could get both Hendrickson and Burns on the field. They’ve both played well, it didn’t seem to be an issue.
My experience has been that its only an issue in positions where there is a huge size disparity. moving CBs to SS or LBs to DE seems to have no issue but I tried JPjr at DL and he played terrible because he was so undersized. Transversly i put Suggs at DL, who is the size of most speed rushing D lineman and he plays better there than at the ends.
