Is it just me or is the game becoming more and more unplayable? I feel like everyone is running "meta" type of plays, which you can't stop more than half of them. I feel like it rewards people for playing awful and punishes you for trying to make any adjustments.

Played a dude yesterday who ran Y Sail and Double Corner (or whatever it's called) out of Normal Y Close all game long and as well as a Cover 3 Sky adjusted out of 3-3-5 mint all game long. It got to the point where I was trying to hurry up and hike the ball before he could make them all. I felt so helpless against this dude and lost 35 to 7.
Only people left playing this game are the hardcore meta players. I think I'm officially done until 26.

yea its bad....EA tryna keep ppl playin with these "rewards" lol but they are so damn bad, also by the time we get them they are 1. outdated and 2. game is over smh. EA is so out of touch with the consumer. at this point I think its not incompetence, I think its literally on purpose. I mean you REALLY REALLY have to try to be this damn bad at your job smh

I quit playing for this exact reason. Easy to get burned out when you're playing, basically, the same players every game with the same schemes. This has been a common thing with Madden too so it's not a new phenomenon, but it's definitely one of the reasons I stop playing these game a couple of months in advance of the new one.
