Since when did they decide this is a good idea? Why wouldn’t they keep it as college OT as well?

Because EA sadly is incompetent, and also dosn't care about testing or quality control of anything that dosn't correlate with sales.
Not only is Cooldown the only house-rules event that tracks for milestone objectives "play/win games", but the event dosn't even give you the rewards you're supposed to earn. It's been broken since it was put in, and EA hasn't bothered with fixing it, coz it dosn't generate money, so F it and the community.

It gives you the rewards. Just a visual bug that doesn't track it as you go.

Are you sure about that? I know that has been a thing earlier on, but I'm fairly certain I never received any trophies from this mode. Coins maybe, but def. never trophies.

Yes. I got trophies after winning the 8 games. It tracks just doesn't dosplay.

In my experience i would have to disagree with this, i played champs last week and got credit for a few Ws, and then tried to play different house rules games to finish and didnt get anything.
i then tried playing in the ultimate dynasty h2h and got it completed and received rewards

You're speaking objectives. I'm speaking the actual rewards for winning x amount of games in 4x4. But also, i got all my h2h wins for objectives in 4x4 as well. Last stand and overtime in house rules, however, do not work.

Ok, that's interesting. I guess it could be coded in a way, so you only get the rewards after 8 wins, seeing as there isn't a "win x, lose y" win/lose condition to trigger an end to the event. Weird setup, but thank you for your feedback mate!

I don't get how it clearly says wins track in h2h or house rules yet I won 2 games in different house rules modes and it gave me 0 wins. I'm not grinding sweaty h2h games just because they can't track games correctly/deliver on promised objectives they can keep their sub par "rewards"

Just wanted to clarify in regards to rewards in 4x4 cooldown. You only get the rewards from the final tier, and only after you've won enough games to reach that tier. There is no "lose" condition in that gamemode once you start an event/run, so it dosen't really make any sense to have rewards listed for anything other than 8 wins, but you do receive them once you get to 8 wins, in however many tries that takes. And they count as h2h games in the objectives, so there's that
