I mute my mic and my opponent’s. I don’t wear a headset so I never know what’s being said even though I see some people talking non stop.
What do you guys do? Do you ever have a positive interaction with an opponent? I see some people on here say they hear they’re opponent whining and talking sh*t and it doesn’t seem worth it.
Nah, I turned off voice chat. Usually have my kids around and people have no act right. Plus, Nick Saban didn’t have his opponents in his ear calling him racist slurs while trying to manage a game. Why should I? 😂

I have the game permanently muted. No offense, but I can't imagine wanting to talk to a stranger on this game, and if I did they wouldn't want to hear me calling out their cheese and questioning why their life is so sad. So it works both ways I'm sure.

See that’s how I feel too but then I see so many people I play chattering away I start to wonder if I’m missing something.

I typically play with it on, but with my mic muted. When they are cool, I will chat. When they rage, I laugh and enjoy it. When they have annoying music playing, I mute them.
Occasionally it is useful to have on. Most of the time, you probably aren't missing much.
I love it on. It gets emotional. I like the added pressure not to lose to someone that I just called a peasant.

I start a party with my kids old psn account and that way I can listen to the game bit theopponent and I are both muted.
