I wanted to hear some different thoughts on this. I had seen some people comment about EA and the potential of a silent nerf on cards after being out for an extended time. To be specific, I noticed people saying this about DJ Lagway—most people were very high on him to begin with, but I did see some comments saying they felt his play and throwing had been altered/nerfed after a few weeks of being out. Wanted to hear if anyone had thoughts or an experience related to this topic.
I was not a believer until it happened twice to me over the course of the year.
It's happened with the original Josh Allen LTD card for Ultimate Alumni. I thought maybe I just got complacent and needed a change.
Then it happened again with Matt Stafford. I went from absolutely shredding the competition to over or under throwing everything, throw power not feeling like 99 anymore.

Staford did the exact same for me. All of a sudden he couldn’t complete a corner route pass to save his life
I have heard of people selling a player and replacing with the same exact player to reset. They claim it brought the player back to original success rates.
I definitley feel like it's a thing with QBs at least. Can't tell you how many times I've had a QB, used him for 2-3 weeks and he's amazing. On that 4th week, he randomly starts overthrowing everything.
Could just be all in my head, but I haven't noticed these issues anymore now that I swap my QB every other week pretty much.
yes they nerf cards
they nerfed Saquon etc
this is done so you have to keep buying packs

Yeah, I've heard people talking about Saquon as well. It's unfortunate because you think you could just rely on the card's stats and trust the attributes, but it seems like this has become more common.

Yeah, I've heard it the most when people talk about QBs. That is interesting. Might have to try that technique out if you feel it has helped to notice it less.

Yeah, this definitely checks out with what I have seen. Unfortunate to hear it appears to be in the game often instead of relying on card stats and skill. Are you still using Stafford or have you switched up?

Long since switched it up. I tried going back to him at one point but with that release he feels unusable with how good and fast the CBs and safeties have become.
