Bought 100 Gerharts for fun even though the card sucks.

I'm a retired trader. I built a model early on to predict prices in the Auction House. It was very rudimentary, but it made me win on about 95 percent of trades. I actually thought it was wrong at first, because it basically said never trade non-LTDs with more than a 72 hour window, but I've confirmed that is absolutely the case. Regular card value isn't even a fraction of LTD long-term value due to the supply aspect. I don't even model any more. I just buy all the LTDs in the market and corner them. It's easier and more productive than putting in actual work.

For comparison, my best years trading in the real market had a win rate around 60 percent. The auction house is absolutely moronic. Any decent trader could make as much as me with no effort. I'm not special.

Multiple people here have found out who I am in real life and I don't hide it. I have some professional trading interviews out there, but I'm kind of embarrassed about how stupid they are now that I'm more mature. I became a millionaire trading before I turned 24.

I'm pretty sure I posted my LinkedIn here before. I started trading equity derivatives in 2009, and have traded in most major markets in the world. I had to retire because I got hit by a car almost 3 years ago now and ended up disabled. My left hand isn't fully functional any more, and while that's fine for playing games (although part of the reason I suck), you can't have any weaknesses in the real market or you'll get eaten alive immediately.

This is basically what I do now. It's illegal in the real market, but allowed in the game. I'd advise everyone learn how to do it before 26. I'm not going to keep playing, so I want to help everyone earn unlimited money so they don't give EA shit.

As i said, if winning is no problem on top of your 6 mil, then you're admitting you wanna be a leach? Like if its easy to win, idk why youd WANT a hand out.....to get a card you want should be easy if its easy to win. 

Also i dont need to play into your ego i do enough ego driving by simply loading up madden and cfb every day but extremely cute you gotta try and resolve a convo by trying to flex about being able to win in a video game.

i mean im okay with spending 3 mil on him but to spend 4 mil on one card & have 2 months of cards coming out seems pointless to me. games at the end of the road so i’m not spending time with the auction house to make coin anymore as there is no point. i could just bite the bullet & buy bush but then when someone else comes out that i would like to run a couple games with i dont wanna miss it. 

I dont need any of your coin tho, if you would like some tips/tricks to get better add me. we can run squads & just friendly head to heads & i’ll give you all the advice i can free of charge

Unless you're buying a game-breaking card like Bush or there is no LTD at your position you need, your entire lineup should be LTDs. All regular cards lose value. LTDs go up in price and even if they don't, the quicksell saves you soooo many coins. Just for an example from last week, Stutsman is probably the best user in the game, and he still lost half his value in a week. Almost every card in my lineup for comparison is trading at a higher price than I paid. Do not get sucked into buying any non-LTDs when 26 rolls around and you'll quickly have more coins than you know what to do with.

I'm kind of hoping EA gets rid of the tax. It's super annoying that I have to basically burn 10 million+ coins just to give away 100 million. I'll also give coins for lessons for anyone that can help me be a better player. I still suck, especially on D.
