How do these upgrade tokens work? I put 2 of them on the a player and it says "Ovr will increase by selecting an Archetype in the unlocked chemistry slot" so I dropped 15k to put an Oregon chemistry on him but no change in Ovr was hoping someone could explain this before I try to get more tokens for no reason thanks.
Anyone? just played UD H2H and it was painfully long don’t want to waste my time if i can’t increase their overall but I’ve seen people with them as 99
So for each token you put in, it opens up one of the 9 chemistry/position slots below. There are 12 slots total. The first slot is UD chem, the 2nd one is team chem, the third one is scheme chem, then the (9) upgrades, which are the different archetypes for each position, begin.
There are 3 different paths you can choose from, and you can upgrade your player however you want. It costs 1k coins for each archetype upgrade, and you can change them whenever you want.
For instance, so far I've upgraded my MLB to a 94, so I have 4 slots open, and I picked Field General for each one. If I wanna change one up, I can go to one of them, pay 1k to to either Run Stopper or Pass Coverage to alter the stats that get bumped. It shows you what stats each one bumps up right there in the upgrade screen.
One thing I've noticed is when arranging your depth chart, the player's upgraded rating is not reflected correctly when putting him into position. Again, my example MLB is a 94, but when going to put him at, say, MLB2, he still shows as a 90. However, once he's in the lineup his correct rating is shown. Just something to keep in mind.

Thanks! Sounds like I need to choose the archetype or something to fix the overall rating but maybe it just isn't showing in the item binder like you said..I'll try putting him in the lineup to see.
Ive made an excel sheet that you can test what upgrade combos give you what bumps for each player. If you want to DM me an email address and I can send it over.
That's cool, I love this sort of stuff. Can you put it in a google drive or box or something?
Let me know if this works.
