If you win a few games the computer will match you up with better opponents. If you upgrade your team, the computer will upgrade your opponents also. So it’s hard to consistently win over and over from what I see.
I assume it works the same way if you lose. The computer will downgrade your opponents and match you up with comparable opponents. So is there any incentive at all to upgrade your team or get better?
The game isn't perfect...but yes, you can win or lose consistently. The best players have very high win %. The worst players have terrible win %.
I hate DDA. I am personally not a fan of any abilities. I think it should be ratings, play calls, and execution. I still have enjoyed this game though.
if you want to play and have fun run what ya want (its what i do) but if you really want to start winning at a high level you have no other choice but to join the herd and run the META on offense and defense period

Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy the game a lot. Just kind of thinking out loud more than anything. I wonder if my team was still like a 95 if I would win about the same amount because the game would match me up with other 95s.

Yeah, I think you are right. I’ve seen the loop blitzers, and it just seems so cheesy to take advantage of a glitch but it’s hard to argue if the glitch works.
I've played with a LOT of different players.
I've never found to be one guy to be completely game changing.
And yes, a lot of QBs do feel exactly the same and perform the exact same. I feel like I could take 95 overall Chandler Morris and win just as much as I do with 99 Haynes King.
I have noticed that if I play through a H2H regular season, I pretty easily make the playoffs with 5 wins, maybe a loss or 2 mixed in. As soon as I start my playoff run I am matched up with some switch stick demon sweat. So even making it to the playoffs there is a very noticeable upgrade in opponent skill from the regular season players skill.
Its almost like EA doesnt want you winning Nattys.

I have this exact same experience except I usually coast through the playoffs also but all hell will break loose in the national championship.
Even if I'm loaded into someone else's Natty during my season, I still can't do shit.
To date my worst loss in this game is in a Natty. It's almost to the point where I can predict when the game is gonna go south. I started out on defense. I picked off the guy with my linebacker and started running it back, he stopped me on the 1 yard line. 3 plays later and it's 4th and goal from the 1 because he's shut down everything easily. I tell myself "if I don't score this touchdown, I'm going to lose this whole game" and it's only the 1st quarter.
He stopped me. I lost 52 to 3. I couldn't do ANYTHING. I threw 7 picks to this switch stick demon from hell.

While there is reason to complain about DDA, you discredit yourself with many of your posts and "points". It would be best to avoid the hyperbole.
If you are not using some form of the META, you will have a tough time winning more than 60%.
This doesn't mean you can't run unique versions of stuff, and are forced into 33 mint + Normal Off Close.
To win at a high level you almost have to have some form of a Loop Blitz on defense, and/or heavy man blitz. Offense has a lot more room for creativity.

I have a 96 overall, trust me, I get 98-99 overall teams every time I load up

I can't comment on current results with mismatched teams...but I had slightly lower success when I started in late December, when many had teams that were 3 OVR more than me. Can't say if it was because of my lower rated team or I was just less familiar with the popular schemes at the time.
