Did anyone else's out of position overalls change? For example, I had Korey Foreman (RE, 98 OVR) starting at LE since he was a gold 99 there. Even Tackles are viable overalls at guard and center now, OLBs at DE , Safeties and Corners are pretty much interchangeable now too. Not really griping about it but I did have a gold 99 front seven with Foreman at LE so I'm a little upset about that but really just curious if this happened for everyone and maybe why EA decided to do this so late into the game?

Hopefully a transition to more personnel freedom. No reason we shouldn't have more player freedom, it's been the same stale interlocked system for 10+ years only getting more restrained because of comp madden. hopefully it's a turn to more creativity in lineup building

Honestly, I agree with this. I understand in real football moving a tackle from the left side to the right side or vice versa is a big change and can affect someone's play but in a virtual simulation game that should be based on stats that are posted, there should be almost no OVR droppoff or increase. I feel the same way for a lot of positions on defense too (DE, LBs, Safties). Hopefully in the next game they still count toward your theme and scheme team tho.
