Lol yeah I see people blame everything on DDA. In this case though I’m pretty sure there are techniques that I’m just missing and want to learn.

i've noticed it works most effectively for inside/slot routes rather than outside routes

Mine just jog off the line a little faster and make sure to bump into them every time.

They literally seek out a DB and get in their pocket lmfao. Corner just as surprised as I am when it happens.

they nerfed it for taller guys i noticed it and i dumped my moss right away. im running hopkins, hunter, aiyuk and they fly.

That’s interesting. I just got Zay Jones so I’ll try it on him. Though it feels like it’s Moss and Evans that have burned me the most so I’m not sure about the tall guy nerf thing.

DDA is the worst and will affect this, however, I overcame this problem.   

A lot of times it’s just the play. Can you get your guy to go up field untouched? 

Defensively, stay out of match and use 3x platinum robbers. Make sure CBs don’t come down as they try to align down in the game.  I still get beat over the top every 2-3 games.  

 Takeoff is still OP. You will still get beat here and there.

That’s helpful. I do use match a fair amount. Why do you recommend not using it?

I love match in the redzone, however, the AI is stupid and your deep zones come down too much to handle the takeoff.

Even before take off people could toast you.

Lastly, I didn’t stick with match for too long this game, maybe others have advice to run it better.

I end up in match mainly because almost all the zones in my playbook are match. If you shade over top does that negate the matching principles? Seems like I saw that somewhere.

For example, if I am worried about getting beat deep I run cover 4 and every cover 4 in my playbook is match except one.

That’s what they say anyways. I kept getting burned in match. A lot of blitz plays are match too.

I run cover 3 and only get beat 1 time every 2-3 games. Not perfect, however, sounds like a better experience than what you are receiving atm.

I’ll try more cover three. I guess my thinking was it’s better to have four deep than three, but maybe not.

load up practice and put them side by side like i did, you'll see the difference.

Something I’ve noticed is that receivers that are 6’2” and taller  don’t  have the same get-off with the ability as the shorter ones
