Fat L. Monopoly contract.
The First half started off so horrible!! Boring!! They finally started releasing more. Not enough though! Make 4 week promos where we can earn a champion. Make sets like madden. And let us choose the player. I don't want to trade in 8 94s to get a random 95. Like wtf! Yea... sets are HORRIBLE!! Offer more and better pack opportunities that aren't all bnd. I struggled hard earning coins in the first half of the game. Slowly I built a stack. Madden is 1000 times easier to build up coins! I'm assuming that's due to everyone having bnds in this game. Also quit putting horrible traits on players that should have good ones. As far as the scheme thing. Idk..... I'd like it more if they offered more. With the team changing costing 15k In coins. That's ok... IF we could refund later and at least get half of that coin back. Offer us a token once per season to put on a player to change it to any scheme we'd like. That would help quite a bit. Put some dam effort into this game!! It could be sooo sooo much better!
Gameplay.. I LOVE!! Best part of this game. Everything feels smooth.

By the crowd I meant the various stadium effects or theme song, or chants, or touchdown celebration, etc. There was a lot there and done well IMO
lmfao. nothing they said was wrong. stop giving a billion dollar company a pass.
Hey gents I appreciate everyone’s take here, even those that disagree with my opinion.
i don’t think EA can ever create a game that folks won’t expose a flaw or OP method to win. I don’t think that’s EAs fault.
Lets keep it chill and respectful to each other and just share your thoughts on the game as a year in review.

Fair enough lol. I mean trust me EA has pissed me off plenty of times to the point I quit Madden and there was a time I was #6 rated in Madden Sal Cap mode for competitive play.
Wasn‘t this game kind of fun though? Maybe I am hoping EA doesn’t try to force their Madden processes that lead me to leave too much on this game.
WhiskeyLullaby said:CFB25 was painfully average for what EA's made the last decade. Not the best, not the worst, just felt more fresh because it was college. Most of your pros are easily debunked, so I don't know why you'd state them.
>The details into stadiums and fans? All of the fans look like they got hit in the face with a hot shovel when coming off the short bus. The mascots and band are cool, but nothing revolutionary, everything was done better over a decade ago. What they did correct here was so minor that it shouldn't even be stated.
>The diversity of playbooks was a huge thing for the first half of the year, but the last three or four months? I'm not remotely exaggerating when I say that 80-90% of my games are against Normal Y Off Close, with either 3-4 or Double Mug six-man glitch blitzes as the "defense." It's not the fault of CFB25, it's the same with Madden every year, but it's horrendous. And frankly it's something fixed with a minor patch on the defenses, and forcing kids who solely copy those offenses to just play against each other through a manipulation with matchmaking.
>The gameplay was fine (not in a vacuum, but comparatively), it still has its fair-share of issues. Nothing that a patch couldn't make much better. But the pursuit-angles of the CPU are awful, DBs dumbing out, OL is awful, user tackling is in the gutter, making adjustments on both sides of the ball need an upgrade, high balls are too poweful, etc. And that's before getting into DDA, so if you're a good player, you're constantly getting the short end of the stick, while your opponent is allowed to do whatever he wants, including the exact things you're doing.
>The amount of content was awful. The first half of the game was borderline nothing. It wasn't until the latter half that they started picking it up, and even then it's nowhere where it should be. We need more modes, more solos, more House Rules, etc. that're actually different, actually fun, and actually rewarding. Sets are a joke, packs have literally no value unless you pull the LTD with actual value, BNDs are a seasoning not the dish, etc. Content in CFB and Madden could be elite with very minimal effort, but EA refuses to put that effort into the games because they're lazy and unimpressive, and get away with making money as is (even though much more is left on the table).
>Scheme and Ability variety? Schemes literally don't matter and the same handful have always been the best all year. Abilities not being utterly broken (outside of Extender, which should've just been removed) is fantastic, but everyone runs the same handful.
And to top it all off, I wish gaming was more "toxic" in the way people constantly complain about. I want gaming to go back to where it was 15, 20 years ago. I want people having fun messing with other people, while playing a game that's actually good. Games being "toxic" today aren't due to guys wanting to have fun, it's due to fatherless kids wanting to min-max everything instead of actually being good at the game, making everything the same. Every single match of any game is the exact same, because Little Timmy has no brain, it's completely fried and gone. CFB25 is an average EA football game, and a terrible game when compared to the rest.
Takeoff is worse than extender. Plus you should see Reggie bush’s shifty, it literally breaks the game. reggie Isn’t making other people miss, his shifty dumbs down other players pursuit angles so they make themselves miss. some of the abilities in this game are pretty broken, but I agree that it’s not as bad as madden. Wr abilities are more toxic than madden tho

Takeoff and Shifty aren't anywhere near the problem Extender is. I don't know where this drug-filled propaganda is coming from, but it's ludicrous at best.
Ultimate team is such a joke the player model is so bad and drops always suck this ultimate team lacked a lot of players current and past

I had to put up 70 points in my 3 minute quarter squads natty to win. It was quite literally me and the other offense taking turns throwing takeoff deep balls. My Vick finished 9/9 with 679 yards and 9 TDs. Takeoff is so much more broken than extender and it’s not even close. And Reggie bush’s shifty is better than everyone else’s shifty, but I wouldn’t expect a broke casual without him to understand.

That's a lot of talk from some ignorant kid who's constantly beaten by streaks, while I've never had that issue.

That’s a lot of talk from someone who’s too illiterate to read what I’ve said for two consecutive posts now. Maybe you’d have Reggie bush right now if you were intelligent enough to read a sentence. First post I said Reggie bush has a different shifty than everyone else, and you were too lazy to read that. Second post I said my squads teammate let up 64, and you claimed I let that up. Maybe learn to read bro

You're trying really hard to come across far more impressive than you could ever dream of being.
Other than champs not counting wins, Vick not being able to move/run right in the pocket, qb not able to pitch to non dominate side as quick as dominate side, 2 lineman running right by one guy you needed them to block and continue running downfield to block no one, QB breaking sacks and your defense is standing in end zone and you can’t move them while QB runs straight down the field uncontested for 50 yard td, and YouTube spammers…It was a great game.

found the kid who screams “glitch blitz” against mid blitz or pinch buck 0 when it’s a easy 1 play td lmao
WhiskeyLullaby said:I've been playing EA football games longer than you've been breathing, and I'm better at the game. Everything I said was factual.
>Blocking the glitch blitzes is wildly inconsistent at best, even if you do it properly. And even when you do, it's one-on-ones across the board, including the TE, so the edge will come in quicker than it should, or someone will just get a random shed. It's been an issue in the game for years now, and EA refuses to do anything about it.
>Loop blitzes are pretty easy and consistent to stop, with few exceptions out of Mint. I'm not saying it's "not an issue," but I don't think it's a big one, especially when it's basically a delayed rusher. It's more of an issue with OL logic than anything, because the Guard or Center should recognize the rusher and disengage from the double to pick it up, if there's no RB to block it.
>I despise Switch Sticking, I think it's one of the worst ideas ever implemented in these games. It'd be fine if it was limited to one move per play, but being able to spam around is ludicrous and game-breaking. It solely exists to bail-out kids who don't know what they're doing on defense, and allow the real sweats to just take everything away.
>I constantly hear crying about Takeoff and I've never had an issue against it. "They're running right by my corner..." Ok, well you're doing something wrong, it's never been a big issue for me all year, if at all. And if you hate it that much, run Robber on your outside Corners, it negates Takeoff.
>Extender is still broken, and it should just be removed entirely. This isn't up for debate, and it's still an issue to this day. Takedown only works if it's Platinum, and even then, expecting people to spend 6-8 AP on that one thing to counter the most broken Ability isn't an argument, it's admitting that Extender's a problem.
guarantee id beat you 10/10 games i actually make money playing this game lmao you say you can’t block a 6 man blitz so your not better than me and probably never will now that we got that out of the way lets start with take off it doesn’t have a direct counter it’s broken that a db can run straight past a cover 4 deep zone pressed or unpressed that’s not a debate and robber isn’t a solution that’s not the point of the ability and doesn’t stop it it just makes the throws tighter if anything two extender is broken i agree but not as bad as takeoff and has a direct counter instead of spending time on these forums why don’t you go learn to block a te maybe a HB and id the mike my guy
