Guys that aren't necessarily good enough anymore to be starters but perfect in the return game. I'd rather save the extra wear and tear on my starters.
Any suggestions?

Yeah lots of formerly great players don't feel so great anymore. I'm sure EA has done their rounds of Shadow nerfs.
I tried to use my old Taylen Green yesterday for fun and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Went back to Haynes King and was fine.
