Does Gerhart totally suck?

I haven't put him in my lineup yet, but I've bought 20 of him already. I don't understand why he's not trading higher given he's a 99 HB.

Anyone want to give me any insight? Is he not worth playing? I sold my Saquon and put in Durham, but was considering plugging in Gerhart over CMC as my HB2.

Just curious, what’s the plan for buying 20 of them? Aren’t you buying high since they just came out?

I haven’t played with him but his numbers don’t look as good as Barkley’s. Or the best back I’ve used which is Marquez Cooper.

LTDs don't lose value like other cards, they usually dip around 12-36 hours to their lows. I buy all of them once they get to a price I like and then I sell them back a lot higher.

Just wondering if I should plug him in somewhere in my lineup. I do runningback by committee, and my current backups are CMC and Hughes since I sold my Saquon for a million after getting him for under 600k.

The 96 speed was a disappointment, if he'd been 97+ speed likely would've had much more value. Also there are other comparable/better Pro Style HBs than Gerhart.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I get your point about LTDs. I wonder if that holds true with Gerhart since there are so many RBs and his numbers are sorta mid.

I might see if he's a 99 at FB, or else I'm going to dump him. Thanks.

Prices are usually cheaper on sundays right? Do you buy up cards Sunday then sell them throughout the week?

The answer is it depends.

I only trade 99 LTDs now. As of late, I haven't liked the prices of the Legends drops LTDs, so I haven't been buying them. The other promos seem to get cheaper 99 LTDs, so I usually concentrate on those.

As much as people didn't like the Spring Break promo, that has been my most successful promo trading this cycle. The cards got so damn cheap that it was nearly impossible to lose on them.

If I see anything I like, I'll post here, but I'm probably keeping coins on the sideline until Rush. I have 1000 cards now so I have a lot of inventory I want to liquidate before Rush crushes prices.

QBs are in my opinion the hardest card to make money on, so unless we see an insane dip like we did with Stafford, I'll probably sit out.

This is fascinating stuff. Thank you for sharing. What’s going to happen with your inventory when the new game comes out? I assume EA will stop releasing cards and making new seasons for CFB 25 soon? Won’t you be sitting on a ton of cards then or do I misunderstand how this will work?
