how can a qb that took his team the college playoffs not have any upgrades this entire year and still have a 78 card? i really want to hear someome from ea explain why nico w the vols has no upgraded card. dont bother telling me about the coke 85 card.

Sorry but I rocked free Coke zero boosted 88 overall Cam Ward literally all year up until a week ago when I won a better version for free. Take cut a little more serious with the free stuff and you'll be happier. Been here since the pre order, haven't spent a dime. Obviously this post doesn't have to do with money, but to shit on the free player program and still complain is weird stuff

Vols fan here. Its because Nico had a really average season. The offense went through Dylan Sampson this season. I think Nico and Mike Matthews have a phenomenal breakout this season.

i agree that his season was average…but that doesn’t stop ea from upgrading others. why would harrison get a card over nico if that was the case?

I also wonder if sometimes it has to do with the NIL deals signed with players. Maybe they agreed to only a certain number of cards before they wanted more money? Who knows, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the players have "opted out" of more cards until they receive more money. Just a thought.

I believe they got a flat fee of $600 plus a free copy of the game, and that was it.

hot take: the high defensive stats were also a result of the offense holding the ball for a long ass time feeding it to Sampson

They added Youtube Streamers and comedians before players like Sean Taylor , Peyton Manning , Aaron Donald , Patrick Willis etc but drop Travis Hunter 15 times . I don’t expect anything from EA anymore ; irrelevant to the topic but I’ll never buy another game from the company 😂🤌

No offense bro I love Tennessee but we played 2 big games, one against UGA and one against OSU and gave up a shit ton of points. Alabama was a good win but not a big one cuz look where they sorry asses ended up. They were shooting themselves in the foot that game

So many player that actually played in college this Year kicked ass. And EA keeps doing repeat cards and old players because madden just got some of them. Like a copy paste thing. Cmon EA we want players from college that kicked ass every Saturday.
