Speed boost when cutting or at random times

I swear my opponent always gets these at the most beneficial times it's ridiculous. Every time I think I'm about to tackle him, nope speed boost to the edge and he's gone.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Occasionally I will also benefit from it but not nearly as much as my opponents. I'm not so sure if it's DDA or some sort of desync.

I think it triggers if you have Shifty on your RB and make a specific cut motion when you get the ball. I've done it a few times by accident but I have to imagine some guys practice how to do it consistently.

Shifty ability on RBs/WRs and very high acceleration makes super glitchy animations. U can time the cut move and the sprint animation to cause these moves.  

I have green and emmett smith both with gold or higher shifty and  98 speed 96+ accel.I had shaun alexander before with 98 speed and 98 accel and he might have been even glitcher than the other two.

I thought that to but I just had a game where it happened for a db on an interception return, and a QB on a read option. Neither time I saw shifty light up.

That's bizarre. Have no idea then unless it's a timing thing with the joystick.

its related to hard cutting with left trigger. (let go of sprint momentarily, hold LT when cutting with stick, then quickly hold sprint again). this will result in a speed boost more often than not, especially with high ovr players and shifty.

I see this playing solos quite frequently. I'll run a QB power and I randomly get HUGE speed bursts.

Maybe House Call and Option King? That’s my best guess. Madden‘s Pick artist, which is their version of HC gives a speed boost on first catch in stride and Option King gives crazy animations to the QB on options and pitches

That’s some glitch play, I saw it on YT. What playbook do you run? The one I use that it’s in is OKSU but I can’t do it cause my QB got bricks for feet

Not true it's random never run shift an I've gotten it b4 just happens with the perfect cut sometime no abilities
