There's only one type of direct snap. Most of the time you'll find it in the multiple playbooks like Bama, Penn State and I think the Kansas schools

Alabama, App State, Arizona, ASU, Baylor, Buffalo, BYU, Ball State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Cal, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Colorado, Eastern Michigan, ECU, Fresno State, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, ISU, JSU, JMU, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisana Tech, LSU, Louisville, Marshal, Memphis, Miami (OH), Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, NC State, New Mexico, NIU, Ohio, Ole Miss, Oregon State, PSU, Pitt, Rice, San Jose, Southern Miss, Temple, Tulane, TAMU, UAB, UCF, UNLV, UMass, USC, Utah, Washignton State, Wyoming and Vanderbilt all have some form of direct snap in their playbook.

Many do, but only some are effective. 
Arizona State has several. 
Alabama has a good one. 
Iowa is the most effective Direct Snap.
