DL help

So I’m trying to rebuild my DLine and I need some help to determine who’s the best at each position and what matters. Currently I have 97 Josaiah Stewart GC, 96 TJ Parker, and 95 Alfred Collins (I also have a 95 Patrick Jenkins but he’s on the AH cause he wasn’t playing too well for me).

I’m trying to figure out what  attributes/traits matter and prioritize getting those types of players. Between BSH, IBL, STR, POW, and high motor trait, I’m not sure what’s important to look at for a DL besides the obvious pass rushing attributes. I know this game favors offense but I’m just trying to find the right mix of players that can consistently get pressure on the QB at least 60-70% of the time.

I look at BSH, PMV, FMV, SPD, ACC, and Weight when finding defensive linemen.

For me it is about the traits. Highsmith and Charlton are great options at the end position because of price, abilities, and traits.

If you have them, do they play well for you? Cause those are the two guys I’ve been looking to have as my DE

Have you noticed weight making any difference? I kinda feel like it’s not as useful for gameplay, but I could be wrong.

It feels like heavier linemen stop the run better and push their OL back more often

I read somewhere 320+ DL trigger double teams so maybe have 1 DT that's heavy to help your edges get the most 1v1 opportunities. also DEs with gold quick jump are very good but im also a believer in traits so if you can get both that would be ideal from my experience.

imma rec 2 players that have been good for me on pass rush i rec jerzhan newton who has good size and speed for a dt been a absolute monster for me and for run stop no one has been able to get pass mason graham for me

yeah I try to focus on high motor (i still can’t figure what exactly it does but I hear it’s important still) and then the pass rush traits that apply to that certain archetype. That’s interesting about the weight though, I didn’t know that

I’ve heard Graham is massively overrated, which doesn’t make sense cause his 96 SOTS looks good, 99 BSH and all the traits but I’ve avoided going after him because of it.

I do have them both and can say they do play great, especially Highsmith. With the all gold abilities and good BSH, SPD, ACC, and P/F moves they play great. For how much they are they are phenominal

he is kinda slow if you plan to use him to pass rush but i run 4 line men so i use one linemen for a pass rush and one for run stop which would be graham if you find yourself playing someone who abuses option spams run plays no one has played better than him for me

ablities matter, I suggest the inside disruptor ability on your dt's (Collins doesn't get it) jerzhan newton, shemar turner, and Bryce ganious are some nice cheap ones , if you put all your ap on DL like me put wrap up on your edge rushers because take down doesn't work
