out of position penalties?

asked a question on reddit about playing someone out of position (specifically, Derwin James at CB) and someone mentioned that there might be a penalty to awareness for an OOP player. is this true/any experience with this? haven't gotten the chance to play much since i got Derwin, though i know he's a great sub LB I wonder if he could be more useful for my sub par corner room. thanks

I don't believe there would be. Put him there in your lineup and check his stats. Also, losing a game or two figuring it out isn't a big deal

his awareness will drop but i don't think it really matters. his ovr will "drop" but he'll play fine there

With DDA it really doesn't matter.
