People are ruining the game

I play quite often and consider myself a better than average player. I don’t google anything about the game regarding “tips“ or whatever “cheese” to exploit. I play how real football is intended. I don’t spend money to buy the best new players either.
Yet I’ve noticed a recent increase in the number of players who have the best card available that day it drops. So I explore that team’s roster and it’s full of the best players in every position. (Must’ve spent over a thousand dollars on UT player)…

That’s ok I guess, but what is ruining this game is these people who have been exploiting the “cheese” plays. By that I mean the plays that the developers make which are unstoppable. Examples are overload blitz’s which every receiver is blanketed and you have zero chance of getting a pass off. Or the zone where they user the mlb and run in a circle instead of the assignment. These “god squad“ users should grow a sack and play legitimate football instead of exploiting loopholes. They should be penalized somehow for doing this too. These A-holes take any fun out of the game. I’m not alone by saying that EA f’d up on this game. I’m disappointed and done with this franchise and the company EA Sports.

a lot of the stuff I don't have an issue beating but yeah it's beyond annoying loading into ever game being bunch str or trips te or something along those lines. and then yeah it just becomes tweaking things on offense down to the same 3 plays vs the same 3 defensive looks it just stops being football. start of the year always the best, then slowly it just turns into playing the same opponent every game because everyone sits in the same 2/3 schemes. never about best playcall vs defensive look it's just "block rb zig/curl/streak against man" or "block/slide out of this formation v loop blitz". can't run any under center singleback it gets cooked, can't run half of the formations because ai can't detect certain things from em, so it all gets watered down smh

The house rules mode in which you could only use one play once throughout the game was great. It mostly eliminated all the cheese plays and forced people to play the game like it's meant. You could tell when you played the cheesers because they would run their cheese plays first series then after that they had no answer and would typically quit because they couldn't hang. Using different formations is the way the game should be played. I would love to have a permanent mode such as this in the game. Call it "Anti-Cheese H2H" or something. A full game in which you could only run the same play once per game or once per half. That would appease me because clearly the developers of the game don't feel they need to remove the cheese or reprogram. I think they should remove double mug and all the stem routes because all it does is expose the poor in-game programming. I'm okay with hot routing and basic defensive adjustments but the stem routing is excessive.

yeah that was easily the best HR format imo.

I don’t think you realize this but in that HR you could just hurry up and run the same plays over and over again that drive… thus if they had multiple good plays they were just hurry you up every play and score and then run a different one the next drive. You didn’t play real cheesers if you didn’t see that

Other than being on a professional competitive top-10 player level with the switch stick, it's impossible to play defense in CFB running "stock" blitzes. 

I guess that's what people want - scoring every drive just randomly and casually picking plays and having 10 seconds to throw (though I suspect most of the people outraged at "cheese" blitzes are in Bunch and doing several hot routes to "cheese" routes like Zig every play).

This game is so awful. So many times my players are dropping open passes (Rome Odunze 98 CTH). I’m so sick of all these teams getting chesey animations and my players drop wide open passes. Countless times I run the ball with my 97 Bijan Robinson and I get chased down by DTs. I’m fed up.

well to be fair odunze does have the yes drop open passes trait

This is why I just quit the game, might not come back since I get to this point every season.

CUT was incredible in season 1 + 2.

It's so annoying.

Way too much of an arcade feel as opposed to more simulated gameplay. Way too many people who don’t actually know football or at the very least don’t desire to replicate how football actually is played / have more fun paying / playing to win. Also I think currently abilities are causing a huge imbalance to the gameplay not allowing for much discrepancy creating too strong of a meta. Its a shame. lol

I've played guys that cheese it by running turbo on offense. annoying as shit

I've played them. it's awful, and the Frat cards arent worth playing them

Personally, I run the same bundle of like 10 plays because they work most of the time for me on offense, and because I suck at throwing past 15 yards lol.
