Just bought CFB25 - was it too late to buy it, and is it too late to actually start up an UT

Picking the game late is wise for the budget. Regardless if you want a top team or just bare minimum. You will be good.

i recommend knocking out the field pass. Solo seasons count towards most o jetties and are a great way to lvl up.

college football gameplay is so much better than madden. Madden is really clunky there’s zero stick skill I think college is probably just as popular but im not sure. Most of the big gameplay YouTubers play CFB.

just drop Like 45$ get 3 of the booster fully and try to stack your coins for the next  OVR boost.  Also use mostly new legends for important positions cause they have gold abilities which will really carry you

Nah it’s not too late. I’ve had CFB 25 since release and I hadn’t touched CUT until about 2-3 weeks ago, and I was sitting at a 73 overall team. I’m now at a 94 no money spent. It’s gonna be a grind but if you do some research into what attributes/traits are important for each position (especially on defense), you can find 90+ overall value cards to get good fast.

If you good at the game u can definitely compete with a budget squad

I started my CUT team 2 weeks ago and have a 94 ovr team and can beat people with 97 ovr teams

It's all about hitting up the challenges for the free players (stars of the season gives you a 94+ BND, Game Changers gives you some 93+ and 92+, and a lot more challenges). And trophies are extremely easy to get which can give you guys like a 96 ovr QB, 94 FS, 93 TE, etc

Even with a lower over you can still have fun.

Just enjoy the game and find a mode you like playing.

Just try not to spend $$ to chase ovr because nothing holds value after a week.

Definitely not too late, like someone already said, cards are very cheap rn. Def do all the challenges. Gamechangers, Nightmares, CFP&CFP National Championship, SOTS, and all the Legends are really solid. Ive pulled 2 LTDs (Including KIttle just 3 days ago) just from challenges, the other being Nightmares Mason Graham. If you can do all those challenges in 4-5 days you can grind towards House Rules, preferably Gamechangers Score Skirmish. You are gonna have to grind out probaly 5 wins a day atp but its definitely possible and worth it. GC have been insane and especially good considering you get 2 sellable and a guaranteed 95. Frat House rules is also good. If your looking for coins make sure to save all the trophies you get bc there will be a coin conversion most likely out soon. Just make sure to snag a player you think will be good at a 97.

Glad you got it on sale but you wasted your money. 
Most of the chumps who play this game paid over a thousand dollars for a super team and on top of that they constantly run cheese plays instead of learning how football works. Then they talk trash and tell you to “get better“. If you do one good play to counter their 🐂💩 cheese they quickly quit.  Seemingly the ones I’ve encountered are black people. The cheese plays are in the game because the developers are really dumb and they don’t know jack about football.

Doing All the challenges will be a grind but you can get a decent amount of bnd cards through them. I went back and did the earliest challenges from the year. (the defensive/offensive scheme ones) and those bnd packs were kinda glitchy like a month ago.
