Revamped Passing Abilities

Does anyone know for sure and have seen their ability light up using revamped passing? Don't want to waste AP and have not been able to figure it out. Will I be able to see in practice mode?

They should light up in practice mode. However, the only time I've ever seen passing abilities light up was on Placement. All other passing types don't seem to trigger the abilities.
