Is scheme theme team now worth running?

Just curious if y’all think scheme teams are now worth running with the addition of the scheme spotlight cards and being able to change the scheme of the Ltd cards of that promo along with Ltd legends? Thinking about switching back to a scheme tt on offense to try out cards like 99 speed john ross

With DDA, it's irrelevant. That said, do what gives you satisfaction. I run 50/50 offense, defense, and team.

All Ltd cards from the spotlight scheme and legends unleashed promos can have their scheme chems changed at the cost of 15k each card

It's running absolutely rampant right now and has forced some of us to quit playing entirely -- or at least take a break.

gotta love how my 97 speed cant outrun anyone but my opps DT can hawk down lamar, vick, mariota, etc

Ever since 1st rush it’s been awful. That’s when this game changed hard for the worse. Now we have another one for no reason and the DDA has been exponentially worse

It definitely became extremely noticeable around that time but I still was playing really good football through Christmas and early January but once my team hit 97 overall? Fuck dude it's been over. I can't do shit anymore. It can't be a skill issue when you go from winning Natties in both solo and squad and then all of a sudden can't throw a pass without it being picked or not being able to even get out of the backfield on a run. I can't get off the field on defense either.

This is true, recently when I was playing against 97 ovr teams, my 97 speed Reggie was clear outrunning 99 speed caleb downs every time or like any other 98 speed plus db. Then when I play 91 ovr Germari sands, he cooks 97 speed KJ bolden on a run. I get good luck sometimes and bad luck sometimes, but I can’t imagine what it’s like for 97 ovr teams, I feel for Yall

no, its pointless. a lot of players are at 97 speed with a theme team, getting to 98 is not worth limiting the personnel so harshly.

They definitely can be. With Scheme spotlight and legend unleashed players I’m able to reach 50/50 on offense and get +2 speed/acc for my key players. Since Scheme Spotlight players get x2 chem it makes easier and you don’t have to sacrifice any positions.

They basically have lost NFL right so this is going to be the new Madden.

I’ve stopped looking so much into team schemes once you get to like tier 2. The people who made these are idiots. Here’s why… 

For Def 3-4 multiple either tier 2 or 3 is +IBL. So for defense once you hit that tier you’re getting +1 for Blocking. So why waste so much time and money to find scheme players to get that boost. 
 

other Def schemes tiers are similar. 

I focus on the team, I got GA for like 48/50 Right now and that’s worth it.
