Is there some new glitch to mess up the O-Line assignments?

I swear, people always are going to find something to make their lives easier in this game.

The past few days I've seen people setting up this thing pre-snap where they're putting the linebackers right over their defensive line and AS SOON as you hike the ball they get through. It seems to glitch out the offensive linemen's assignments. They just stand up and don't even try to engage.

I saw it a lot in squads recently but I just tried to play 3 just regular head to head games and all 3 dudes were just shamelessly doing it, 2 of them right from the rip and 1 of them waited until I scored a touchdown. It's so frustrating I just quit and try to find a new game. I can easily handle mid blitzers but this crap is just ridiculous.

Whatever it is it's spread like wildfire.

There’s a new blitz that Civil and Dcroft have been using that sounds just like this.   I think it’s out of the 3-3 stack formation?    But either way it also has to do with the way EA coded OL blocking assignments this year.   If you position a blitzing LB right over a DT/DE the OL will recognize that linebacker presnap as someone blitzing and prepare to block them.   Then when the ball is snapped they will drop the LB back into coverage and it will mess with the blocking assignments.   This is especially effective if the DL that the linebacker is standing over has quick jump.

I think this is the biggest frustration with the "Get Good" crowd. It's one thing if you're sending pressure and I don't' block enough guys to pick it up so you get an easy sack. That's on me. But if I am making the proper adjustments presnap and you get through strictly because the offensive line AI glitches out and doesn't understand that your guy is blitzing because of the way you position your guy so the game doesn't register that,  it's not a "bad" player issue, it's an exploit in the game.

If you only rush 3 the block sheds work differently then if you rush 4 so bringing down a linebacker will help with block sheds when only rushing three.

How is that not playing football? That literally happens all the time in football, show blitz and drop into coverage.

because it's more about the line's AI logic than your dumbass "show blitz then drop" like you're actually disguising coverage or something. You ever seen an Oline consistently miss the same blitz over and over in that kind of fashion? no. And yes you can do xyz to stop it every play, but again, it's because the AI logic is messed up, not because you're some sick ass defensive wizard lol

And I don't run it but in terms of facing it- no it's not because the AI detection isn't nearly as broken out of that- unless you're talking  specifically about mid blitz every play, then yeah it's still cheaply relying on man coverage being overwhelming better than it would be IRL on a down to down basis. Also not being able to tell the line "hey that safety hovering is clearly not coming, don't detect him" isn't possible. Even still though, I wouldn't consider mid blitz a cheese play, just lazy.

So it's the game fault? So you you admit it is a bug? Which means it shouldn't happen. If you use the glitch then it isn't skillful or fair it is the very definition of bug abusing. Tricking the game into doing something that shouldn't happen over and over again. Stop the ragebait bro you're cooked.
