Throw accuracy stat

I was wondering how the TAC stat affects gameplay. I play on placement and use hines ward and he has 40 TAC, cant seem to figure out what this stat does. Thanks

it doesnt do anything, it a stat for cpu sim

I feel like it doesn't affect gameplay at all or, if it does, it's not enough to care about it. Jayden Daniels has the worst TAC in the game but no one ever complained about how he played.

I actually do think it has an effect. When I used Quinn Ewers & Joe Burrow I was throwing a TON of errand throws. That all stopped the day I got Brady Cook. Do I occasionally still throw errand passes? Of course….But it’s MUCH less frequent.

And when I say “errand throws” I’m not talking about throwing on the run or when I’m under pressure. I’m talking standing in the pocket with no pressure and still just throwing a random uncatchable pass.

I genuinely wonder how this happens as it seems to be different for everyone. Surprisingly, the QB I had the most random inaccuracies with (not under pressure or doing anything crazy, just standing in the pocket) was Legends Daniel Jones. The guy with 95 TAC and 94+ in all accuracy stats.
