I have played 20 games with Jeanty and despite no workhorse he is still RB1…If used properly. I put energizer on him along with shifty & 360. The way I keep him fresh is I don’t give him back to back carries. I have him splitting with Bush every play. What makes him special isn’t his running - It’s his ability to break tackles. He trucks & stiff arms work 90% of the time and that’s with no abilities of either. Multiple times he has caught a pass & takes a hitstick but puts his hand on the ground, Catches his balance and then keeps going. As long as you rotate plays with him, He’ll stay fresh. Only 2 games out of 20 was the lack of workhorse an issue.
Is he worth the price? That depends on how your play style. I am a I-Formation pound the rock to setup play action passing kind of guy so I put my most resources into the RB position. If you’re a pass heavy guy - He would be great but you probably wouldn’t get the value out of him and would be fine with another good pass blocking/receiving back.
