If you exclusively run man, WIll Johnson may be the better choice. If you run much zone though, Tariq gets gold Ballhawk.

Peterson is terrible. A man coverage based corner but only has 86 change of direction, 82 jump, and a paltry 83 toughness so the second he makes one tackle his stats are dropping even more.

If you're primary man coverage guy, get Will Johnson. If it's zone? Woolen.

all I said was that Pat Pete was the best corner I’ve used. I have all 97-98 cbs (with chems) and Pat Pete plays way better than all of them. if you want to chase stats that’s fine but I really don’t care about anything other than speed and how they play in game. Most stats don’t matter and Pat Pete has everything I need.

I really like 96 overall Korie Black, he has been an absolute dawg for me

The thing is it's his 94 that gets the gold man abilities not his 96

Just wondering is Burke really good for you? I had him at a 98 and he was the worst cb I’ve ever used. he was even getting cooked in solo seasons!

I have Tariq, Mbakwe, and Igbinosun with the token added to him.

you really only need 4 corners unless you primarily run dime formation so id sell either dejean or oliver or both and replace with cheaper cards unless they are cb 1,2, or 3  and really ball out for you. keep lockridge at 5 since hes cheap anyways so its okay. 

and as far as finding the one shut down cb imo there isnt one in this game they all get cooked by certain routes so id recommend just going to the playerbase and thinking about what you want in terms of speed, height, zcv or mcv or both if you like running both, plays ball in air trait, etc then enter those filters and go from there. 

will johnson is probably the best in terms of all around. 1 of 3 cbs with 95+ in speed, accel, change of direction, zcv, mcv, and jumping which is all i really care about personally (the new pleasant card and sots ponds are the other 2) while not being undersized by being 6'2, plays ball in air aggressive, has decent run stopping, and has 89 toughness so he can get workhorse. only thing i dont like is electronic arts decided it was a good idea to give him silver ballhawk instead of gold. edit: igbinosun with the token also meets these thresholds so if you have the token i highly recommend you sell burke and pick him up hes also taller than him. basically will johnson for 1/4th of the price if you have the token
